Over The Moon, One Of, and Stephanie Gottlieb Hosted a Bridal Fashion Week Event at Manolo Blahnik
At the peak of New York Bridal Fashion Week, the wedding industry gathered at the Manolo Blahnik store on the Upper East Side for an event hosted by the e-commerce site and registry Over The Moon to celebrate sustainable fashion brand One Of’s latest bridal collection, try on jewelry by diamond doyenne Stephanie Gottlieb—and, of course, shop the shoes. Guests sipped Palomas by 21Seeds while models wearing looks designed by One Of’s Patricia Voto weaved through the crowd. The brand’s name—One Of—is derived from the fact that each piece is custom-made from dead-stock fabric, and on display there was an off-the-shoulder mini fit for a welcome party, a full-length aisle style for a ceremony, and a fun bustier and short set tailored for dancing the night away at an after-party.
In a fashion moment that felt like a chic take on the 27 Dresses storyline, past One Of clients attended the event wearing their favorite designs created by Patricia Voto, leading to an unofficial dress code and a few cute matching moments that served as conversation starters. In the center of the store, Stephanie Gottlieb helmed a display of sparkling jewels—including the famous “87” necklace that Taylor Swift wore to the Super Bowl. Vogue contributing editor and Over The Moon founder Alexandra Macon was the first to try on this now-iconic “87” necklace, while content creator Hope LaVine, Cinq founder Macye Wysner, designer Lesea Berry, Savannah Engel, Amanda Jones Vaughan, and bridal stylists Anny Choi, Gabrielle Hurwitz, and Julie Sabatino browsed the engagement rings, necklaces, and tennis bracelets.
The activations didn’t stop there—Lefty’s Right Mind was on hand to personalize Manolos purchased with a colorful or metallic monogram on the sole, and representatives from 111SKIN were ready to offer guests custom skin consultations as well as eye and face masks to take home, which felt fitting at one of the final events on the Bridal Fashion Week calendar. At the height of the party, Andrew Wright, the president of Manolo Blahnik’s North American operations, introduced the hosts and thanked everyone for attending. After shoes had been purchased and personalized, in addition to a goodie bag, guests were encouraged to choose a special One Of hair bow made from dead-stock fabric on their way out as the perfect parting gift to remember the night—and Bridal Fashion Week—by.
