This is a view from the back of my parents house outside of Toronto. Each and every tree was planted by my family. The small cabin is our sauna.

Matt and I didn’t want to see one another before the wedding, so he got dressed in a separate house on the property. Here he is putting on his light-blue knit Hermès tie. He was adamant about not cutting his beard but did pull his hair back into a bun before the ceremony.

I think it is really important at weddings for guests to eat and have a drink upon arrival. This is where they entered and noshed on passed hors d’oeuvres before being ushered to the ceremony.

It was pretty surreal to exit my family’s house and walk toward 200 of our closest friends and family—a moment I’ll never forget. I met my parents at the pond, and the two escorted me down the aisle.
