In Los Angeles, Victoria Beckham and Augustinus Bader Foray Into Complexion Skincare with a Fabulous Fête

For fashion designer and beauty icon Victoria Beckham, Los Angeles will always feel like home. After all, Beckham and her family spent many years in the City of Angels while her footballer husband played for the LA Galaxy. So, celebrating the debut of Victoria Beckham Beauty’s first full-coverage complexion product in partnership with Augustinus Bader in Hollywood felt like a long-awaited homecoming. And it was worth it.
Perched in the hills with breathtaking views of the city’s glittering skyline, the exclusive soirée took place in a high-design estate adorned with stunning green marble slabs, spacious living rooms perfect for intimate chats, and a state-of-the-art open kitchen serving glasses of bubbly alongside impressive canapés. The stylish rooftop deck dotted with palm trees and pillar candles provided an exquisite backdrop for the exceptional evening.
As the gracious host, Beckham welcomed family and friends to the Hollywood mansion turned VBB beauty Maison for one night only. Dressed in ready-to-wear numbers, everyone was so excited to try the new concealer and explore this new category for the cult-followed beauty brand. “The integrity of the product is very refreshing,” CEO of Victoria Beckham Beauty, Katia Beachamp told Vogue. “The concealer was Victoria’s dream. She really wanted a tool that brightened but also offered coverage. A product that was working overtime.”
Upstairs, attendees gathered in a glamorous onyx, green marble bathroom for a shade-matching party. The sweet and sultry aroma of 21:50 Reverie filled the air while VBB specialists enhanced guests looks with a swipe of concealer, a hint of shimmer highlighter, and a touch of blush. “Victoria has a point of view that is not fad-driven, which sets not only her brand but purpose in the beauty industry apart from many of the other players,” Beauchamp explained.
With guaranteed results within six weeks, the concealer was the star of the show. Offered in a range of 16 shades with a delicate brush applicator, the double-duty tool offers precise brightening and plumping to any makeup routine. “Ultimately, I’m always creating what I want for myself and I wanted complexion that treated,” Beckham began. “A lot of people have done it, but I wanted to do it right and no one can treat skin like Professor Bader’s TFC8.” Of course, the sleek VBB packaging was put to use, and this time with a touch of the iconic Augustinus blue on the cap. A nod to the duo’s continuous collaboration.
“I never put anything out unless I truly believe it is the best in class,” Beckham exclaimed. “Our clinical trials were off the charts, our sales have blown our minds, and I think we are just scratching the surface because people can really see a difference. The more you use it, the less you need.”
