Mordechai “Mister Mort” Rubinstein and Sara Brown’s Traditional Brooklyn Wedding
Photo: Elvira Kalviste1/19Mordechai and I met in New York, so getting married here felt right. Most of our family and friends are also local, although we did have some come all the way from Israel and Australia.

I was inspired by old botanical prints and early Italian floral patterns. I designed the border, which framed a friend’s calligraphy. Our friends at Terrapin brought it all together in the printing. The earrings are Victorian yellow gold and natural seed pearl and sapphire.

His Panama hat from Lock Co. was the perfect touch for the hot summer evening. He also wore custom pants by Ovadia Sons, made out of a silk floral suiting material that he found at a Hasidic store in Williamsburg.
