Exciting news for those missing the glitz and glam of fashion week: It’s back, at least in New York. This past week, it was announced that NYFW will return right before the Met gala, with labels to note including Telfar, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, and Altuzarra. Get excited, and get ready.

Another reason to celebrate? Gucci turns 100 this year. We’ve certainly seen the label boom recently, too, between Lady Gaga’s role in House of Gucci (and those signature headscarves) and Balenciaga’s collaboration with the house. In other happy news, the CDC just announced that vaccinated people don’t have to wear masks in most outdoor and indoor settings.

Finally, the much anticipated Netflix series Halston lands today. The designer is associated with decadent ’70s glamour, and was responsible for dressing the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Bianca Jagger. You’ll recognize a familiar face in the series, too, with Ewan McGregor playing the title role. Happy watching.
