What I love about them is the elasticity.

My philosophy on jeans is that they should be a second skin,

my legs don t need room to breathe or anything.

My style is inspired by Patti Smith.

Through reading her journals detailing making jewelry

a sewing clothes with Robert Mapplethorpe in the 70s,

through just looking at general pictures of her

from the period, it s very clear that getting dressed

is this very creative process for her.

There is this very carefree fun factor.

To me a pair of jeans should work seamlessly

into the outfit, it should never really be the focal point.
