Inside Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison’s Final Wedding Dress Fittings at the Louis Vuitton Atelier in Paris

I m Chloe Grace Moretz.

And I m Kate Harrison.

And we are here for our final fitting with Louis Vuitton

for our wedding dresses.

[Kate] Definitely a little nervous.

A little nervous, as you said, yeah,

a little mixture of both.

Like overwhelmed in a good way.

This will be our third fitting.

So we did our first fitting, which was just the toile,

which is just the outline and shape,

and then we did our secondary fittings,

and that was like 98%, but then today will be 100%.

Completely finished including veils.

Yeah, we didn t see the veils last time.

I think that s the moment

that makes it all really set in that it s real.

And we re not gonna be seeing each other s.

Yeah, we haven t seen each other s.

So we re doing all of this separate.

So when we got engaged, I immediately knew

that I wanted to reach out to Nicolas and Louis Vuitton

and see if he would be interested

in making my wedding dress,

and got a very overwhelmingly excited response from Nicolas

that not only would he be willing to make my wedding dress,

but he also wanted to include Kate in that,

and to make both of our wedding dresses

and our after party looks.

To, you know, include my fiance and like my partner in that,

it just like speaks very highly to Nicola s character

and kind of the community that he s created at LV.

It just feels, I don t know, really monumental in a way.

You can tell so much energy and time went into it

and it just feels so special.

[gentle music]

When I knew that I was gonna propose to Kate,

I was excited at the opportunity

that we don t just get one engagement ring,

but we get two engagement rings,

and I had worked with Elizabeth Potts

at Moonstoned for years

resetting vintage jewelry into new custom settings,

and that was what I knew I wanted to do

with our wedding rings,

and so both of our diamonds are Victorian diamonds

and we wanted to reset them in a Victorian sense.

I was really excited to do something like that

that felt like it could become our future family heirloom.

I was blown away.

I mean, the fact that she designed them all,

like, designed both of them just out of her mind,

it was wild.

I mean, mine is so me and yours is so you

and she just did an exceptional job.

The biggest part of our relationship is our friendship,

and like, you really are who you keep around you

and it influences you to such a degree,

and I feel really lucky to have you guys in my life

and I m sure you feel the same way.

In 2019, I remember seeing

the runway kind of version of this look

or pieces of this look and it had this cowboy hat,

and when we were talking about

the perfect after party look,

I think this is the one that we all landed on.

And to see it, you know, created to my proportions,

it s just so beautiful.

So beautiful. And a little bit

of yee-haw, baby.

A big part of the wedding was kind of sharing things

that Kate and I love with everyone that s gonna be there.

So there s fishing, and some horseback riding, and-

[Kate] Poker.

Yeah, some poker. [laughs]

Kate made a custom poker mat herself.

So we re gonna be kind of leaning into it.

Our second day is gonna be all line dancing and everything.

[Kate] I hate that.

We ll work on it. [laughs]

I m stunned. This is incredible.

[Kate] And this is so pretty the way that it falls.

I ve always loved sheer overlays

so when I mentioned that initially to Nicola,

he was immediately like, I ll do it for your after look.

I think it s stunning.

And yeah, he blew it away.

Like, they couldn t be more perfect.

I honestly don t even know

if words can put together how I feel.

I love that it feels very old Hollywood,

and of course the color, the birth of the color

started when I went to the Academy Gala with LV

and I wore this blue leather dress.

I remember immediately talking to Nel and I was like,

maybe we should think about doing this again.

And then I proposed to Kate and I was like,

I think we should do that blue for the wedding dress.

Come on in. [laughs]

Oh my goodness.

It s gonna happen.

It just feels like me.

You know, it feels like an extension

of what I would ve always hoped for,

and I think, like, I never really envisioned

a wedding dress in my mind growing up

and so when we started talking

about what that would look like, I knew immediately

that I wanted to do something non-traditional, you know,

and not wear white and kind of have it feel different,

and I think it really does.

You guys, you re gonna make me cry.

Oh wow. It s so perfect.

You and Kate, you know, had such a vision.

Very clear since the first day

we sat and talked about like this.

The best of like, it s just like, it s a dream.

Yeah, we should take them in.

do you like where they hit or?

They can go higher. A little bit higher.

I always knew I wanted something

that highlighted my silhouette and came in at my waist,

and I ve always loved this like soft sweetheart neckline.

When I had that meeting with Nicola

and I mentioned the idea of embellishment, he just lit up.

I couldn t even imagine a pattern or idea to even suggest,

and he just created this almost like artwork

of flowing embroidery.

[Jess] Is it two pieces?

It is, so it s a bustier and a skirt.

[Jess] I m ready to see it.

I don t know that you re ready.

I m not.

Oh my God.

It s amazing.

I m like, I m speechless.

I wanna cry, but I m too happy.

[people laughing]

Chloe, she s gonna love it.

I think the thing I m the most excited for,

other than being married, is that first look moment.

Having no idea what we look like in our dresses,

it s gonna be so special.

I mean, I feel beautiful.

This dress just kind of makes you feel ready.

This design is perfect.

I m ready, this is beautiful.

[Jess] You re getting married in this!

I think what I m most looking forward to

about getting married is just, you know, being together.

I think, you know, we ve been together

for almost seven years

and making this promise to each other in a new way

and exchanging these vows and, you know,

I think it s just important to stay every day

choosing each other.

To have, you know, Nicola and LV behind us

doing two brides dresses, I think it s really important

and could be life changing for a lot of people

who get to watch this video

and get to be a part of our day a little bit.
