Halloween is less than two weeks away. The pressure to deliver a clever trick-or-treat look for the ’gram is real. Unless you’re particularly skilled with a sewing machine, it can be hard to create a bespoke look. But spooky season is nothing to fear! Just look to these seven celebrities for outfit inspiration. All of them nailed costume ideas that are both chic and easy to copy. Bonus: You can even adapt most of these pieces for non-Halloween outings as well.
Take Kendall Jenner’s Fembot getup for last year’s holiday, for instance. Her feather-trimmed dress and pumps are spot on for the iconic Austin Powers character, but the pieces could make for a fun boudoir look when simply lounging about at home. Another fashion-forward classic? Lupita Nyong’o as Clueless’s Dionne: a checked sweater vest, plaid skirt, and mary janes could easily transition into one’s work wardrobe look.
