Jennifer Lawrence! Jacob Elordi!—the best style sightings of the year were served by the more emerging talents in Hollywood, too. Their red carpet outfits come complete with interesting cuts, textures, and silhouette. No safe gowns or boring tuxedos here.
Below, scroll on for the breakout red carpet stars of 2025. (In no particular order.)
Myha’la
Sculptural Luar! Bejeweled Miu Miu! Myha’la may be a relative red carpet newcomer, but she has burst onto the style scene with serious aplomb. The actor—who cultivated buzz for her roles in Bodies Bodies Bodies and Leave the World Behind—has been captivating our TV screens once again as Harper Stern on chaos-corp drama Industry. Her fashion focus? She does not shy away from theatrical silhouettes and blingy finishes—be it crystals or feathers.
Eva Victor
French-American actor Eva Victor earned her first Golden Globe acting nomination next year, for her standout role in Sorry, Baby. (Which she also directed and wrote, by the way—no big deal.) Even cooler than the fact that she’s a triple-threat? She has the makings of a true fashion star, too. Her leather Loewe suit at the 2025 Gotham Awards proved to be one of her very best, though her halter Loewe gown at the Governors Awards also nailed minimalism-chic.
Archie Madekwe
English actor Archie Madekwe (best known for his roles in Saltburn and Midsommar) had another eventful year in Hollywood in 2025. He was both a producer and leading man in Lurker, in which the star played a rising pop star who gains a stalker-fan. To match the buzzy project, he and stylist Felicity Kay have mastered the art of cool, contemporary menswear on the red carpet. He enjoyed a wealth of exaggerated lapels, and leather blazers in lieu of the customary, come-to-be-expected wool. The looks are hip and fun, with a sense of British cool that could never be stuffy.
Renate Reinsve
The Norwegian actor gained critical acclaim for her performance in Sentimental Value this year (a role that also nabbed her a 2026 Golden Globe nomination). On the red carpets, the star has also proven she has all of the makings of a leading lady. The star has slipped into an architectural red satin Louis Vuitton gown at the Gotham Awards, or a one-shouldered leather gown—also by the label—at the Governors Awards. Her red carpet outfits are always heavy on the drama, but with a controlled sense of clarity and vision—and we are entirely here for it.
Chase Infiniti
Thanks to her breakout role in One Battle After Another, Chase Infiniti gained her first Golden Globe nomination—and her fashion choices have been just as captivating, thanks to the assist of the masterful stylist duo Wayman + Micah. Whether it has been avant-garde Iris van Herpen ruffles, or a minty pleated column Louis Vuitton gown, the star favors a look that has a strong, powerful shape. She enjoys ensembles with commanding presence, just like she is on-screen.
Tom Blyth
The English actor’s résumé in Hollywood is only growing. In addition to fronting the series Billy the Kid, Tom Blyth has a slew of exciting projects to look forward to, including the 2026 ensemble-cast film People We Meet on Vacation. His red carpet style? It includes all the pillars of the coiffed and cool English gentleman—including classic suits, great trench coats, a snazzy pleated trouser or two. It makes us want to grab high tea with him on a rainy London day, and traverse Hampstead Heath when the sun breaks through.
Jessie Buckley
Irish star Jessie Buckley is a major 2026 awards season contender, thanks to her turn as Agnes in Hamnet. And while her wardrobe in the film is certainly Shakespearean, Buckley’s red carpet style feels decidedly more current. Working with stylist Danielle Goldberg (a master of stealthy-chic), Buckley has favored quietly-elegant looks that make you squint to notice the finer details. And once you do, you’ll be enchanted. She’s not afraid to have fun, too. Please see her bold, tiered, feathered Roksanda gown above.
Caleb McLaughlin
What happens when you star in one of the (if not the) biggest TV shows of the year? You have the big, blockbuster-worthy red carpet wardrobe to go with it—duh! On his Stranger Things season five press tour, actor Caleb McLaughlin truly came into his own this year, taking a fun, distinctive approach to tailoring and suiting up. He has served up cool military-inspired jackets from Wales Bonner, and classic pinstripe suiting from Thom Browne. Someone has done his fashion homework, and we can’t wait to see what’s next from the 24-year-old.
Havana Rose Liu
Havana Rose Liu—who bounded onto the scene in 2023’s Bottoms—has had a busy year since, with starring roles in Lurker, Tuner, and the recent holiday film Oh. What. Fun. Her approach to dressing for the spotlight? You can go ahead and call her developing style New Hollywood—that means a more fresh and youthful approach to that classic Old Hollywood glamour, filled with loads of elegant Chanel, naturally. It’s with a simple but unexpected cutaway or a playful pannier that Liu gets us all excited.
Christopher Briney
Christopher Briney skyrocketed to heartthrob status on the hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty—his sleek suiting game only elevated it. The star has been striking the right balance between classic and cool, infusing his tailored two-pieces with spicier details. A clunky square toe shoe! A leather Saint Laurent bomber jacket thrown overtop! He has nailed dapper dressing with a twist.
