Anya Taylor-Joy has been time-traveling. Over the last few days at the Marrakesh International Film Festival—where she’s been serving on the board—the actor has cycled through custom, contemporary, and archival Dior. There was a drop-waisted and floral-hipped black dress and another shimmering golden gown, both made bespoke and inspired by the spring 2026 collection. On another evening, she wore a spring summer 2001, Galliano-era black knit crochet dress.

For her final night, Taylor-Joy returned to one of her favorite red carpet trends, albeit with the help of a different designer. Stepping out for the final evening of the film festival she wore a lace-trimmed satin maxi dress with a laser-cut leather triangle bralette underneath, with arpeggiating lace and sheer details through the skirt. The full outfit was look 38 from Tom Ford’s spring 2026 collection, designed by Haider Ackermann and worn on the runway by Alex Consani.

Styled by Law Roach, she paired the look with strappy black Tom Ford sandals, and Tiffany Co. diamonds: the Bird on a Rock Wings Wide Bangle in platinum, the Schlumberger Sixteen Stone Ring, and Bird on a Rock Wings Drop Earrings.

Taylor-Joy has been a committed Dior lady since she was made an official ambassador in 2021; delighting in the house’s most feminine silhouettes, shimmering fabrics, and bow-adorned gowns. And when Jonathan Anderson stepped up to the creative director plate, Taylor-Joy wholeheartedly embraced his custom designs: she wore a charming houndstooth cape to Anderson’s debut womenswear show, and snapped up the coveted Les Liasions Dangereuses book tote.

When not swathed in Dior, Taylor-Joy will opt for the super-feminine and subversive designs of Dilara Findikoglu (like that corseted Little White Dress to ring in the festive season), or the high-drama couture gowns of Margiela or Ashi Studio. She’s not typically been a Tom Ford woman, but creative director Haider Ackermann’s vision seems to align perfectly with these facets of Taylor-Joy’s sartorial sensibilities. This dress, in particular, speaks to all the Anya Taylor-Joy style sweet spots: sensual and elegant, vampy and controlled, and so, so sexy—hitting the naked dressing trend in a way that makes it still feel fresh and dynamic.
