Anya Taylor-Joy is already on the Christmas countdown: photographed yesterday (November 12) in New York, the actor was cozied up in her winteriest whites—before shrugging off the body-ensconcing coat to show off some festive corsetry.
It all started off as a typically polished and sophisticated look straight from the Anya Taylor-Joy style playbook. The Dune actor wore an oversized white wool coat with a tie-waist and rounded lapels, her collar elegantly popped. The rest of her outfit stayed hidden, but she braved the city chill in bare legs and white mules. Jewelry, of course, was by Tiffany Co (it was a brand event—Tiffany Co. Celebrates the Holidays—and Taylor-Joy is a longtime ambassador), and she opted to wear a Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Rock brooch and matching earrings. Her icy blonde hair was pulled back into a slick chignon, and she wore a striking and glossy red lip. It’s always in the details with Taylor-Joy—and while she’s a lover of classic and timeless accents, her extra long, white, bejeweled manicure added to the festive feel. (Someone who also has been an ardent devotee to the naked mani trend).
Once safely inside The Landmark, Taylor-Joy dropped her coat to reveal her LWD (Little! White! Dress!) with a sculptural high neck, its bandage and lace details accenting a flippy mini-skirt. The back of the dress featured intricate back corsetry. Styled by Ryan Hastings, the dress is Dilara Findikoglu—the reigning queen of subversive feminine corsetry beloved by the Kardashians, Rosé, Rosalía, and more.
It was certainly a sensual and sexy step-up from her more cutesy daytime look: Taylor-Joy was spotted walking around with her husband, the musician Malcolm McRae, in a cream shearling coat cinched at the waist with a bow, a matching bonnet, and cream a-line skirt. This was more Easter lamb than anything.
The actor—who has forthcoming screen time in the form of Dune, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and Lucky—often looks to a cooler toned color palette to complement her pale complexion, and more ladylike silhouettes. As a Dior ambassador, that works perfectly: wearing a custom cape to Jonathan Anderson’s debut womenswear show for spring 2026, and the palest blue ribbon-skirted dress to the Sacrifice premiere. A statement accessory, like a Hepburn-esque headscarf, Dior book bag, massive hair bow, or the aforementioned Tiffany diamonds, are also all Anya M.O.
Expect a preemptively white, Dilara-ed, and Diorified Christmas from Taylor-Joy.
