What could Bella Hadid possibly wear that could top yesterday’s Saint Laurent naked dress in Cannes? Archival Gucci, obviously.
After glimmering in gold this morning, Hadid changed into a red carpet-ready nude dress. Featuring a plunging neckline that ended just below her sternum, an asymmetrical hemline, and a crisscrossing woven detail, the dress appears to be one that was previously listed on 1stDibs. The seller claimed the dress is a Gucci piece from spring 2005, which would mean that it’s from Alessandra Facchinetti’s inaugural collection as creative director.
Hadid amplified the archival dress’s glamour, with help from stylist Molly Dickson, accessorizing with a pair of matching satin pointy-toe pumps. She also wore remarkable jewels to match her rare dress: a two-strand necklace with a large pear-shaped pendant, and three-stone drop earrings.
The sexy, nude-toned look is in line with Hadid’s recent style: Yesterday she made heads turn and jaws drop in a completely sheer Saint Laurent pantyhose dress; in New York, she broke out vintage again in a nude Dior by John Galliano slip dress. Be still, our hearts!
