Alex Consani Shows Us Around Her Freshly Unpacked Closet

When Alex Consani stopped by The Run-Through with Vogue, the 22-year-old model was in the midst of a move—and deeply concerned about the amount of clothing she’d soon be hauling through Brooklyn. Now, though, she’s made it to the other side—and she’s ready to give us a tour of her closet.

It’s no surprise that Consani’s wardrobe is full of fashion flexes. First on the docket: the pair of red lace McQueen bumsters that she wore to walk Seán McGirr s spring 2026 McQueen show. “I told [McGirr] that I really, really loved my outfit,” Consani gushes, “and he let me keep it!” Pulling out the black distressed leather jacket she also wore on the runway, she adds: “I feel like everyone from McQueen knows I took this, but I hope they do—this might be a surprise to them.” Also front and center, “the Birk,” as she calls her black Hermès Birkin. “That was a big moment for me—when I got it, I was like, This is me making it.”

While her closet is filled with Prada heels and Saint Laurent denim, Consani still has a few sentimental pieces, like her mom’s black crocheted vest from the ’90s. Also tucked away is an ultra-miniskirt she wore in an earlier chapter of her life. “That was an era for sure,” she says, smiling.

If she had to save one thing in an emergency? Well, allow Consani to demonstrate. She rushes through the closet, plopping a black Dsquared2 hat on her head and lunging for a knit oatmeal-colored sweater. “We gotta get The Row cashmere,” she says. “For the future, for the kids.”

Here, Alex Consani—Vogue’s 2025 Best Dressed cover star—takes us inside her closet.
