Gwyneth Paltrow is making her (non-Marvel) return to cinema in style. Today, the actor stopped by Good Morning America to promote Marty Supreme, in which she co-stars alongside Timothée Chalamet. But rather than embrace Chalamet’s ping pong ball orange method dressing, Paltrow is looking back at her own sartorial oeuvre in Calvin Klein Collection.
Paltrow is nothing if not self-referential. Her lifestyle website Goop and its accompanying clothing line (which she recently rebranded as “Gwyn”) have allowed her to pivot from acting to influencing. While Paltrow often wears her own line, today she chose candy pink separates from Veronica Leoni’s spring 2026 offering.
The look—a satin button-down styled with matching cuffed capris, a fruit punch belt, and asymmetrical, pale pink pointy-toe pumps—is reminiscent of the bubblegum Ralph Lauren dress Paltrow wore to accept her Oscar in 1999 for Shakespeare in Love.
The actor’s now-iconic spaghetti strap dress with a princess ball skirt almost didn’t see the light of day. Earlier this year, she told Vogue that she nearly chose a different look that the brand sent along: a bubblegum skirt and a pink bra top. Now, all these years later, Gwyneth Paltrow’s hold on bubblegum pink remains just as strong.
