Hailey Bieber gathered her friends and favorite industry figures for a martini-fuelled night in West Hollywood this week. Bieber needed a look that struck a balance of elegance and edge—for the Rhode founder, that meant looking to the cool and contoured designs of Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
“I wanted to do something that felt elegant and elevated, but still sexy, and I felt like this dress really captured that,” Bieber exclusively tells Vogue.
Of recent, Bieber and her stylist Dani Michelle have been playing up the luxurious yet playful aesthetic she’s become known for, with business-y skirt suits with a twist via archival Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein, or structured and feminine Ferragamo dresses. Never resting on her sartorial laurels, Bieber has braved a pop of teal in a Tom Ford for Gucci-era shirt and polka-dot capri pants. This sandy brown woollen dress features a close-fitting bustier and falls to her pointy brown Saint Laurent stiletto pumps, with a long leg split—a decidedly more sensual and dramatic look for a fall night out. “I feel like my personal style has a lot of elements that feel really classic and really chic, but then have a little edge of sexiness, because I like to play in that world,” Bieber says. “This dress tackled both things for me.”
For her new campaign promoting the Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card (she’s been banking with them since she was a teenager, she says), Hailey Bieber was shot by photographer David Sims. “Working with David is always amazing, I’ve worked with him a few times now,” she says. “I just feel like he’s legendary for many, many reasons, and every time you shoot with him you are reminded of why he’s so legendary.” Bieber’s campaign follows Claudia Schiffer’s, who is both a Chase and Rhode spokesperson.
The event took place right in the midst of fashion month. (Likely, we’ll see Bieber jet to Paris to support her friend, the designer Anthony Vaccarello with his spring 2026 Saint Laurent show). For now, the Rhode founder is keeping an eye out for what’s next in fashion. “I definitely keep up with the runways as they are coming out,” she says. “I’m a big planner, and I like to plan ahead on looks and things that I gravitate towards so that I can try to wear them as soon as they become available. It’s always exciting to be able to go see the shows, and get inspired for how I want to wear the looks and where.”
And what does Bieber love just as much as fashion? A martini. Summer was all about the lemontini, but on the occasion of the Chase party at it-girl favorite restaurant Alba, Bieber created the ‘Reservatini’—a spicy take on the classic. “I’ve become such a martini girl in the last year or two,” she says. “I realized that extra dirty martinis are my drink of choice, and they are delicious. I just thought the name ‘Reservatini’ was funny and felt clever and cute. It just came to me.”
