It’s a gray, rainy day in New York, where April Showers have overtaken the city. But Jennifer Lawrence isn’t letting that get her down, choosing to—as an inspirational Tumblr quote or wooden HomeGoods sign would surely endorse—be her own sunshine.
The actor opted for a yellow-heavy outfit while out for a walk. She wore a buttery ribbed top underneath a navy cardigan clasped at the neckline and a gray-green double-breasted trench coat. On the bottom, she wore a pair of blue La Ligne jeans cinched with a black leather belt. Lawrence added yellow accessories to her sunny look, wearing a pair of daffodil-hued Vans and black rimmed sunglasses with yellow lenses.
But the pièce de résistance of Lawrence’s outfit was her purse: the Ralph Lauren Polo ID bag—a half-moon shaped shoulder bag the color of banana Laffy Taffy. Even with the rest of her brightly colored pieces, one can’t help but stare at Lawrence’s bag like they would the sun. Perhaps she was inspired by Monday’s solar eclipse.
When it comes to her bags of choice, Lawrence usually prefers to stick to the neutrals—from her black Dior Saddle bag to her olive green Loewe Puzzle tote and chestnut Margaux bag. This almost blindingly bright bag is a playful addition to Jennifer Lawrence’s enviable purse collection.
