If Jennifer Lopez’s wardrobe were distilled into a capsule wardrobe, it would include a Birkin bag, a pair of wide-legged jeans, oversized aviators, a flowing maxi, a white tank top, a t-shirt (perhaps with an inspirational quote), a pair of platform heels, and boots of some variety. Florals, knits, and bodycon are also par for the course. But one thing that seems distinctly un-J.Lo is a billowing white shirtdress.
So when the singer posted to Instagram wearing, in fact, a billowing white shirtdress, it seemed a bit out of left field. But in true J.Lo fashion, she made the look her own.

Lopez’s Schiaparelli poplin dress was complete with meringue-like sleeves, and the brand’s surrealist gold bijoux hardware. Daniel Roseberry’s homage to many of Elsa Schiaparelli’s most recognizable motifs, the buttons include, eyes, the letter “S,” the French house’s famous keyhole, and other anatomy.
The actor and musician, inspired by the gold accents, leaned into the color palette. Lopez accessorized with Schiaparelli’s rhinestone eyelash earrings, a sculptural gold clutch from Cult Gaia, and a pair of reflective gold Dolce Gabbana platforms, which added a generous boost to her 5’5” frame.
And, of course, what could be more on brand than Jennifer Lopez in a pair of enormous shades?
