Talk about a double take! At the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica tonight, Hacks co-stars Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter turned heads on the red carpet when they showed up in bright orange looks that felt… well, very familiar.

The two actors (with Downs also being one of Hacks’ creators and writers) embraced the art of a chic cosplay moment at the Hollywood ceremony, recreating the custom leather Chrome Hearts looks that couple Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner wore to the Marty Supreme premiere in Los Angeles just last month. (Yes, those matching tangerine outfits that were all over the internet.)

Downs and Stalter perfected every detail of the joint statement ensembles, right down to Chalamet’s leather paddle bag and Jenner’s sexy cutouts. In fact, the silhouettes were so on point, surely they must be by Chrome Hearts themselves? (The cross pendant necklaces on Stalter were marginally larger than the ones sported by Jenner, however—almost in a deliberately comedic, and camp, way.)

The question is: How did the two stars get their hands on such famous looks? Did they ask their stylists to hunt down the original designs worn by the couple? Did they enlist a new designer to recreate the suit and dress, right down to the last stitch? The logistics of such a red carpet reveal are, for now, a mystery, but one thing is for sure: We love a fashionable sense of humor. And leave it to two stars of Hacks, one of the funniest shows on TV, to bring us a giggle. Out for 2026: Taking yourself too seriously. In for 2026: Having a laugh.
