Last night, the party to be at in L.A. was Kris Jenner’s birthday bash. The Kardashian-Jenner mogul turned 70—and practically all of Hollywood turned out to celebrate the special milestone. The private soirée was hosted at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s sprawling Beverly Hills mansion. Who made the guest list? Some of the Kardashian-Jenner clan of course—including sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner—as well as fellow A-list stars such as Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor and countless others.
There was even a royal cameo: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle showed up in style, too. Playing into the formal black-tie feel of the night, Meghan Markle rolled up to the festivities wearing a demure—but very chic—black ensemble. She paired a fitted long-sleeve top by Wolford with a floor-length Brandon Maxwell skirt complete with a high slit. Her accessories truly made the look, including a pair of crystal drop earrings, bowed Aquazzura stilettos, and a velvet bag, which perfectly matched Prince Harry’s velvety tux. (On his lapel, he also donned a red poppy, in honor of Remembrance Day weekend in the U.K.)
Seeing all of the megawatt celebrities arrive to the party was as much of a spectacle as, say, the Oscars or Golden Globes—especially given each attendee brought a formal ensemble for the night. Though, they all embraced black tie differently. Oprah Winfrey went sleek in her leather top and trousers—Sarah Paulson and Naomi Watts (two All’s Fair co-stars) went classic and glamorous in their floor-length dresses. Mariah Carey—the queen of glamour—wore an embellished slip dress, as did Paris Hilton in her beaded sky-blue number.
What did the birthday girl, Kris Jenner, wear you may be asking? We wouldn’t know: The business mogul arrived to the party via some sort of private entry, so her birthday outfit was not seen. But given her penchant for an elegant black power suit (her signature), you just know that whatever she wore to dance the night away was good. Maybe she wore one of the 65 custom designer looks that Kim bought her for her 65th birthday.
