In these celebrity-addled times, there’s only one thing we love more than an A-list appearance—and that’s two. Ideally, holding hands, or better yet, in some kind of matching couple get-up. Ever since the days of Brad and Angelina, Brad and Gwyneth, Brad and Jen…we’ve been hooked on couple style. Personally, I’ll be very disappointed if I don’t see at least one double-denim Britney and Justin or Posh and Becks this Halloweekend.
Adding to the couple style canon: Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall, who famously met in the most on-brand A-lister way possible—on the set of The White Lotus. Since 2022, the couple have been relatively low-key with public appearances, keeping the matchy-matchy moments to a minimum. (After all, it is embarrassing to have a boyfriend these days.) But despite rumblings against having a man on your arm, there’s still some romance in the air. It’s cuffing season after all, and time to flaunt what you’ve got.
While Meghann Fahy swapped her White Lotus wardrobe of poolside kaftans for something more Little House on the Prairie via Chloé at the Time 100 Next Gala, Leo Woodall played the role of obliging boyfriend in understated tailoring. (Men, take note, sometimes it’s better to keep it simple when dabbling in couples style.)
Like so many of our favorite celeb couples, Fahy and Woodall have kept pretty low-key with the whole relationship thing, but allegedly have been dating since 2022. It was in February 2024 when they finally became Instagram official. The photo, which features Fahy and Woodall captured from behind, led Woodall to jokingly comment: “Who is he?!”
In an era where the soft launch is dead and a hard launch feels too much, the occasional red carpet appearance is a welcome choice. Hats off to the happy couple on nailing that smug-but-secretive balance.
