This weekend, Chalamet—who is currently rocking a buzz cut—was spotted on the streets of Manhattan, and his outfit was worthy of a double take. Namely, his eye-catching micro bag.
Chalamet proved he is team mini purse, wearing an orange Hermès Kelly bag. The luxurious style—a celebrity favorite, also worn by stars like Lady Gaga and Kate Moss—can go for upwards of $10,000. Despite its hefty price tag, Chalamet styled the piece in a nonchalant way, pairing it with a leather jacket, sweatpants, and a cool pair of tan sneakers. He wore it as though it was an everyday cloth tote (a New Yorker signature).
Chalamet joins a stylish crew of men embracing the power of the purse: Bad Bunny, A$AP Rocky, Jacob Elordi, and Harry Styles have all stepped out proudly wearing designer bags. But Chalamet gets extra points for sporting one of the most coveted purses out there. Do you think he owns a collection of Birkin bags, too? Maybe soon he will go team maxi bag, and step out with a huge Birkin like Travis Scott did circa 2021. But for now, he’s sticking to a bag that can only fit keys and a lip balm.
