The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Commanded the Room
We have just under a month of awards season left, and the glitzy Hollywood ceremonies are carrying on. This week, the 2026 BAFTAs festivities in London—not to mention the fall 2026 shows at London Fashion Week!—saw loads of A-listers come out in their finest formal attire at the British capital. Naturally, the best dressed stars of the week were the ones one who leaned into a stateming dressing. Powerful silhouettes shined on the step and repeat this week, with commanding shapes (corsets! sharp shoulders) having a major impact.
At the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards in L.A., Rose Byrne hit the red carpet in an ab-bearing Loewe gown, with strategic accents of ruffles that delivered a splash of color. Chic. Bold hues also appeared on Cynthia Erivo, who wore a red leather Givenchy by Sarah Burton coat to the opening of Dracula in London, and Michelle Yeoh, who wore a satiny Dior gown while receiving her Hollywood Walk of Fame star. (It’s about time she got one.)
Clean, sharp lines also proved that the best looks can be the most minimal. In Berlin, Isabelle Huppert looked to an all-white Balenciaga look, pairing a draped white top with opera gloves and cigarette trousers. In Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra Jonas paired a leather Antoinette Messam corset with a sweeping Who Decides War skirt—a take on piratecore, her version of method dressing. (She plays a badass pirate in the film.)
