Fittingly for a woman starring in a film called Couture, Angelina Jolie sure is dressing the part.
Today in Paris, Jolie made her red carpet return for the Alice Winocour film’s Paris premiere. Jolie stars as Maxine, an American filmmaker who arrives to document a French fashion house during Paris Fashion Week under the specter of a potentially life-threatening diagnosis.
Jolie tried her hand at the naked dressing trend on the red carpet, wearing an ankle-length nude mesh dress festooned in silver sequined flowers and beaded fringe. While already plenty sexy, the dress featured a low back and a high slit.
While Jolie is not one of the trend’s trailblazers, the dress did not feel outside of her wheelhouse. Recall the 2025 Golden Globes, when she arrived on the carpet wearing the closing look from McQueen’s spring 2025, rhinestones dripping down the dress’s black mesh foundation.
Another one of the actor’s sartorial habits snuck through: her penchant for a sensible black pump. For the Couture carpet, she paired her slinky dress with a pair of pointy-toe black heels. Between the shoes and her honey blonde blowout, Angelina Jolie knows how to make any look her own.
