In East Hampton, Chanel’s Latest Traveling Concert Series With Performances by Say She She and Yaeji

Of the musical performances that would soon go on, de Maigret explained, “We wanted to curate artists from New York. We decided it was fun to find emerging artists from each stop of the tour and have them shine. We found this girl band Say She She; it s three women with incredible voices, and they are talented and so nice. And then we have Yaeji, who is a New Yorker as well and brings a more club vibe, who can keep the party going into the night." De Maigret had the perfect creative collaborator in Rohner, "Vivienne and I really got to meet each other in Tokyo last month; although we don t have the same age, we have the same vibe. We really connected, and it was so fun to curate this event with her."

As the sun set, over 200 guests, including the likes of Sadie Sink, Rebecca Dayan, Chloe Wise, and more (many wearing current or next season Chanel), whispered about the luck Chanel had brought as the rain that had persisted throughout the day seemed to stop just in time. The alfresco affair allowed the East Hampton stop of Chanel’s Summer Tour to be just as magical as the others.

Sink, who was dressed in a matching leather jacket and skirt from the fall 2023 pre-collection, shared her eclectic summer playlist, including names like Cocteau Twins, Melody s Echo Chamber, Mount Joy, and Beach House. "I ve never really been to an actual music festival, so that s why these live performances are always fun to attend. Chanel certainly knows how to throw an event!" She exclaimed as she headed in to dance to Say She She.

The event was a testament to the power of how music brings people together. Havana Rose Liu, relishing the beach trip amid her upcoming summer plans, eagerly exclaimed, "I love Yaeji! I listen to her a lot. I am very happy she is playing here tonight. I feel like this is a blissful oasis to listen to music—and I am definitely going to dance!"
