Coco Jones Brought the Sparkle—and Glitter—to Brooklyn

Just over a week after the 2025 Met Gala—her first ever—Coco Jones is back on the road touring her album Why Not More? Yesterday, the 27-year-old singer returned to New York, headlining the Brooklyn Paramount, which has also hosted the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Buddy Holly, and Etta James.
For her Brooklyn concert, Jones and her stylist, Maeve Reilly, tapped Defaïence to create a red corseted halter top and sarong skirt over red, rhinestoned bodycon pants, complete with a flowing cape. The theatrical look is a far cry from her off-duty style, which she describes as “simplistic but impactful.” “I don’t really like too much going on,” she says.
But stage looks are a totally different story: Jones wants her clothes to help pump her up, so she can give that back to the crowd. “My philosophy for what I wear on stage is something that has the ability to put me in character,” she says. “Sometimes after back-to-back shows on tour, you really just want to be in bed, but with enough glitter and sparkle, I can be re-energized.”
Below, Coco Jones takes Vogue along as she gets ready for her performance at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York.
