To Kick Off Summer, Zimmermann Hosted a Sunset Soirée in East Hampton

Leave it to Zimmermann to bring the florals and the sunshine back to New York after a week of sepia-toned amber skies. During a beautiful Friday evening overlooking the East Hampton marina, Nicky and Simone Zimmermann hosted an intimate soirée with close friends. The noteworthy night marked the first time in three years that the Zimmermann sisters were in the Hamptons, having recently arrived from their hometown of Sydney, Australia.

Upon entering Sunset Harbor (the newly reenvisioned restaurant of EHP Resort Marina), guests were graciously greeted with a choice of Wölffer’s Summer in a Bottle Rosé, an Aperol Spritz, or a crisp margarita. Attendees were further treated to a selection of Zimmermann sunglasses to wear during Friday’s sunset backdrop. Guests of the evening included Athena Calderone, Roopal Patel, Aurora James, Katie Lee Biegel, Micaela Erlanger, Duckie Thot, and more. DJ Isabella Massenet spun tunes while cocktails flowed and as guests mingled during East Hampton’s golden hour adorned in the fashion brand’s signature and instantly recognizable rich botanical prints, crochet knitwear, and eyelet blouses.

Guests then found their seats at the beautifully decorated tables furnished with rattan chargers and bright sculptural pink peonies in perfect bloom. The night’s menu consisted of contemporary Japanese cuisine, from miso salmon tacos, spicy tuna crispy rice, blistered shishitos, and chicken glazed with a sweet orange marmalade. While guests enjoyed the evening’s festivities overlooking the harbor, there was that sense of ease, confidence, and joy that “Zimmermann girls” exhibit so well. It’s hard to think of summer without thinking of Zimmermann.
