Well, by title, I m the European Editor at Large for Vogue.

I cover the fashion shows and in my spare time,

I m a basketball champion.

I play NBA basketball for the New York Knicks.

I ve been playin now professional basketball

for nine years.

We had a kind of session.

Yeah, we played a little one-on-one.

It was kinda one sided.

(laughing)

and Hamish with his notepad there, taking notes

and also sketching his own designs

caught me by surprise.

I didn t know that was what actually took place

at fashion shows.

Today we finished up the shoot.

Hamish was trying to dunk on me backwards.

The magic of Vogue, we had to simulate what Amar e

can do in a heartbeat and totally naturally

with a trampoline, (laughs)

some mattress pads,

a running board.

I look at Hamish as a fashion guru, just the way

he pronounces himself.

From a basketball standpoint, you also know that he s

never played the game of basketball before.

(laughing)

He might have never touched a basketball in his life.

But as far as fashion and fabric and being able

to sketch gear, he s head of the class.
