[A$AP Rocky sighs]
Being an intern at Vogue could be a lot.
[energetic jazz music]
Hey, so I ordered some coffees over the phone.
[energetic jazz music] [phone ringing]
[censored] I m late.
[Barista] Thank you. Good luck.
[footsteps running] [tense jazz music]
[coffees crashing]
No way!
What the [censored]!
[footsteps running]
[guy sighs] [tense jazz music]
[phone ringing]
Yo, my bad I m late.
You would not believe what I went through
to go get these coffees, man.
Why some guy bumped into me in the street,
knocked it out my hand.
This is cold.
For a while, I thought this job
was gonna get the better of me.
[A$AP Rocky whistles] [footsteps clicking]
[elevator music]
Lovely necklace. You were late.
Dig a bit deeper, Rocky.
[high heels clicking]
But I got this.
[phone ringing] [whimsical music]
[Interviewer] So what do you think
that means to dig deeper?
I mean for me, it s just a couple simple rules
that I follow for my day-to-day to be extraordinary.
Director, musician, fashionisto,
extraordinary, handsome, pretty mother [censored].
Now the first one and it s a big one, right?
And that s to stay organized.
So you basically want to drag it into your Excel
and hit Enter like that.
Wow you re really good at that.
It s good to have a visual to everything, you know?
I completely and totally agree.
I think you re so smart Rocky, A$AP Rocky.
Thank you, Leah.
I mean, I ve never seen anyone do Excel this way,
it s just pretty incredible.
It s time for lunch.
[bag rustling]
And that s what brings me to the next rule,
you gotta connect with your coworkers, man.
So how s your Grandma Edna doing?
Oh she s doing much better, thank you for asking.
Her back is almost fully healed.
That s lovely to hear, cheers.
This next one is a very crucial one of all my work.
Get inspired.
Now as we discussed cover options,
I pulled together a few inspirational images
just to get the creative juices flowing.
First up, we have exhibit A$AP.
Look at this guy, look at the shanay-nay, man.
Get the face card, just like stare at it for five seconds.
I ll wait. Genius.
Gimme some. [hands clapping]
This guy right here is a prime example of fashion.
The Celine too clean.
Peekaboo. [A$AP laughs]
I m not doing it.
[PA] What side are you [indistinct]?
Now ladies and gentlemen,
you could hold your round of applause
but this presentation has come to an end.
Any initial thoughts?
I love it. Yeah.
And the next rule, [hands rubbing] attention to detail.
[Stylist] I mean they re so different, what do you think?
I don t know, what should we do?
These ones.
[bell dings]
I mean, they are good.
Well, it s the obvious choice.
And that brings me to my next tip,
and it applies whether you re doing Kraft Services
or you re top of the call sheet.
No job is ever too small to be done with care.
Oh this is great.
Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice.
Gorgeous. [whimsical music]
Beautiful, nice.
I mean what can I tell you, people need a snack,
which brings me to my last rule.
Pray for the best but prepare for the worst.
[whimsical music]
[stylist sighs]
Damn you call that a little spill,
I hate to see a big one.
Don t worry, I got a solution.
[team applauding]
My job here is done.
Look, if I could be an intern
for the rest of my life, I would.
It s nothing better than learning something new every day.
What can I say, I think I m cut out for this job.
How am I doing, Chloe?
Rocky, you re doing great.
So does that mean I can stick around?
Oh definitely,
Man you would not believe the kind of [censored]...
One more time.
Which brings me to my next tip, no job [censored].
This is my first time seeing these, let me see again.
[PA] Can you give me craft services instead of craft work?
Damn, I said Kraftwerk?
That s one of my favorite bands.
I hear somebody s walkie talkie, we re picking that up.
[PA] Zoom in. [everyone laughs]
Exactly, one more time.
That s the obvious choice.
It s the white shoe or the...
Oh, oh.
[PA] Vogue Stay Orgi and Vogue is also spelled wrong.
Oh wow there s no U, it s botch.
You gotta turn it up.
[both laughing]
This is my first day, I m crushing it.
[cheerful music]
