Inside Amelia Gray’s Alo Bag

Hey Vogue, it s Amelia Gray,

and this is what s inside my bag.

FYI, we are outside in New York,

so if you hear a helicopter or a honk,

it wasn t me.

I have a pretty stuffed bag today.

Some exciting stuff is in here.

Oh, this is a very important article in my bag.

My RocKy s ceremonial matcha.

I couldn t fit my bowl in the bag, unfortunately.

It s beautiful.

I put two teaspoons, I think,

of matcha in my matcha in the morning,

and then my oat milk,

a really hefty serving of agave, and some ice.

And there you go.

I ll make you one sometime.

My cute little burger boy pencil case

that I keep my things in.

We have my Listerine,

always very important to have that.

My hand cream.

This one is my Oak from MAC.

I m addicted to this.

Like, I have a real problem.

I know I m just supposed to be showing you

what s in my bag,

but I just realized my other one s in my pocket.

I have my model blister Band-Aids in my bag.

These are also in the same the caliber as matcha to me.

Won t be sharing them.

This is for the runways.

When I wear heels,

I basically get a blister

every time I put a heel on my body.

That s why you usually don t see me in heels

on a day-to-day basis,

Just an emergency workout set

in case you want to do Pilates on the go.

Most mornings I wake up

and I don t have enough time to work out,

so it s always good to just have this with you

for a little 10-minute break during your day

to get some squats in.

Oh, I feel like this is a good one to do next, post-Pilates.

This is a great post-workout, on-the-go,

I m trying to, like, be conscious

of what I put in my body these days.

I m feeling like that is better than a protein bar.

but this is very me: my model underwear.

Actually, I put these in my bag to go to work today.

I am wearing underwear.

They re just not those.

These are my Gucci Tom Ford sunglasses.

This is my little, like, if we re undercover,

have to, like, you know?

Sometimes I need to just, like, you know,

like, not talk to anyone

and sort of just, like, be in my zen moment,

hold my crystal, ground myself, type of vibe.

This is what I do,

so this is sort of the zen moment.

It would not be plugged in.

I like to do, like, a little pocket, you know,

and then you re getting your hair and makeup done

and you re just kind of like...

But really, I can hear everything that s going on.

This is my first Chanel show backstage pass,

Los Angeles Cruise 2023.

I remember when they gave this to me

and I was just like, I will be saving this for my kids.

I have so many dreams

and there s so many things that I ve manifested

and, like, that s kind of how I lead my life,

just based off of manifesting.

But I feel like Chanel was almost, like,

this unattainable dream that was so big

that, like, I never even thought to dream it,

if that makes sense.

So it was even crazier

to just kind of have that happen out of thin air.

And it was, like, the beginning of my career too.

And they called me and they were just like,

Hey, can you go to L.A.?

Chanel wants you to do something for them.

And I was like, What?

What do they want me to do?

I was just still trying to establish myself

as, like, a serious model,

and it was just crazy.

And I went and I met them,

and then I booked the show,

and it was in my hometown,

and my mom came.

It makes me pretty nervous when my mom is there.

I do not register how many people are watching me.

I don t know how I walk a runway.

Like, that s not me doing that.

Like, I don t know who s doing that,

but it s not me.

I think it s Camelia.

Camelia is sort of just, like,

the version of me that I wish I could be all the time.

You know, like, she s the version of me

that wears heels and wears this big long flowy skirt

and puts makeup on and is just, like, you know,

posing and doing all the things and walking the runways.

That s Camelia, whereas Amelia is very, kind of, shy

when my friends try to take pictures of me.

Like, I don t know what to do.

It s only when Camelia is out.

This is very Camelia.

I m on a September Spain cover of Vogue,

which is so important to me

cause I fell in love in Spain.

We ll get there, maybe, probably not.

But this is pretty Camelia.

This is Camelia, I feel like.

Okay.

But most importantly, this is number one.

Aww, we need to hold space for little baby Amelia.

It s such a huge milestone, honor,

and part in a model s career and growth.

A Vogue cover will forever be important.

I remember they put me in this really cute Miu Miu look

and it was the first time I had ever worn Miu Miu.

Shortly after that, I booked my Miu Miu exclusive.

She really did not know how good it was gonna get.

I m gonna put her next to her

cause I love to see the growth.

My little cute claw clip.

I look like a cute little mermaid with my little clip.

This is my mermaid hair.

This crazy one that happened was

I was manifesting walking the Balenciaga show.

The key is to get so delusional with it

that you, like, truly feel the emotion of, like,

getting the call from your agent

that you re gonna walk the show

or do whatever you re gonna do in life.

Three days before the show, I got a call from my agent.

You have a fitting for Balenciaga tomorrow.

And again, the same thing with the Chanel.

I was like, For what?

My agent didn t know at the time,

and I went in, and Demna had made me this beautiful,

like, wedding dress, and I walked the show the next day.

And I have not since, but I m available.

I m kidding.

Not kidding.

My favorite perfume, Vanilla Verve CYKLAR.

Shout out.

She smells beautiful.

She is, I get so many compliments.

I also use the body wash,

but I couldn t fit that in my bag.

Stress ball situation.

cause that s important with my ID.
