Oh, would you like to do one together

while I show you my makeup?

[Gracie buzzing lips]

Hey, Vogue, I m Gracie Abrams,

and this is what s in my bag.

[upbeat lounge music]

This is the Chanel 25,

and it s very quickly become like my Mary Poppins bag.

I think there s probably 20 to 30 items in here,

but I could be wrong.

There could be upwards of 30, and we ll find out together.

My first item, this is peeking out.

Okay, this is actually quite upsetting

how disorganized this is,

so please don t be mad.

Great, this is a perfect representation

of the state of things.

Let s start with the phone charger. [chuckles]

These days I feel like I am leaving

very early in the morning

and returning quite late in the evening,

and so this becomes useful

multiple times throughout the day.

This lash curler was tangled up in there.

I don t like wearing mascara

unless I am lucky enough

to work with somebody who s really good at applying it.

So I use this instead.

[eyelash curler clacking]

My headphones,

I think there s probably more than one pair in here,

but these are arguably my most important item.

What am I listening to these days?

Let me tell you

with my next item in my bag,

my cell phone.

I was listening to the Japanese Breakfast album,

the new one.

I ve been listening to a lot of Jeff Buckley.

I love the new Heim song, and the Gaga album.

This is a body oil that I got

on tour in Oregon.

A bunch of us went to this tiny little hot spring,

spa situation,

and they sold this there,

and it s like in coconut horchata scent,

and it s amazing.

It smells like everything you want to be.

What else?

My disguises,

a mask for all things.

We all like had the plague on tour,

so I wore this all the time.

This is one of the hats that I wear most often.

My friend Ella made this for her birthday.

Very sweet, everyone went home with it.

What else?

Okay, this is my journal.

This is my new journal as of the past month,

and I m really loving this one.

It feels charged energetically.

There s something like very inspiring

about this journal to me.

It s lined, got it from my favorite store in the world,

which is called Choosing Keeping in London.

If you like weird stationary and great pens,

I recommend you visit them in person or online,

and I ve got some things in here.

This is a card that Dora Jar wrote on our last day of tour.

This is a Polaroid that someone gave me on our last show

of the Europe leg of tour,

which they took when Taylor and I did Us

at Wembley together, which is so sweet,

so I want to like frame this when I can.

Got dinner with Ari last night,

who just gets it more than anyone.

I ve known her for eight years now,

and still constantly I wonder

how I got so lucky to have her in my life.

Ari is my college roommate, like sister.

I normally don t write songs in the same journal

that I journal in.

Every once in a while, if it s like the nearest thing,

I will, but not yet.

I think I m gonna try

to not have there be crossover this time,

but I say that every time.

Next, deck of cards.

Play lots of gin rummy.

I m very competitive,

so I don t always write down the score

if I m not winning the round.

It s dark, dark, dark.

These are my sunglasses.

My stylist, Spencer Singer,

introduced me to this shape when we were shooting

the I Love You I m Sorry music video,

and I ve not worn a different pair since then, yeah.

And I do have a,

see there s a case that just wasn t in the case,

but this is a good opportunity for me to organize.

Yep, gorgeous.

I have no sense of time.

When did we film that music video?

It was in summer, apparently.

It was, it was so hot.

I got a really gnarly sunburn.

Everyone on set that day got such gross sunburns,

and we saw each other a few days later

and everyone was like peeling,

and like walking around like, oh my God.

So it was gross, but it was a also really nice time.

Passport.

This is a new one.

This is so fresh.

So this one has only been,

well it s crazy because yeah, well let s see.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven times.

My wallet.

There are things in here that aren t,

like, they really shouldn t be in here.

Let me show you.

Can you see?

It s a bird head.

I just thought they were gorgeous.

They look like little statues.

So there s these, this is a ring that we got in Portugal.

This is a mess.

This is really holding me accountable now.

I know it s not a good thing that they re in here,

but it means that they re my most frequently worn.

It s, I know.

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.

And then we have some pieces from Chanel.

These are cocoa crush pieces.

These are like my most everyday hoop,

and this is a ring that I really shouldn t keep in here,

cause they re letting me borrow it.

Ah, don t tell, don t tell.

And then this is a guitar pick that my dad made me.

These are the gifts that we get

are like really beautifully drawn cards or crafts.

He s like a crafty guy or whatever.

So he made me this official good luck pick,

and I can t play with it,

because to be honest, the material itself is not great.

All right, super boring cough drops.

This is the first year that I ve worked with a vocal coach,

so I feel like I m learning how to properly take care

of like the muscle that are your vocal cords.

This is another thing that I have been using,

this is a steroid inhaler, really sexy.

Flonase is, I will say, like of course a staple

for being on tour, but also if you re allergy-prone.

I learned from my ENT recently

that this isn t just like a works on a once a day,

like you have to be on a schedule.

Once a day is a schedule.

I don t, I mean like if you use it once,

it doesn t really, it s not very effective.

You have to be on a schedule.

So if you use Flonase and you re like,

Why isn t it working?

Schedule.

This is the Coddly mist.

[bottle spraying]

This is grounding.

That s grounding, I ll say.

These are two lighters that my cousin Abby made

for my birthday.

She bedazzled a ton of lighters.

This one has the LeBron smiling through it all,

can t believe this is my life on it.

Yeah, this is important to me.

Flamingo Estate, Manuka rich cream.

It s dry in the winter, big fan.

This is my current most used beauty product.

It s basically a part of my skincare routine at this point.

It is the skin tint by hourglass.

I m shade three,

if you care.

Another essential is the Lineage sleeping mask.

I m just gonna keep it pushing.

Afrin.

You re getting lots of like nasal, sinus-related products.

I am feeling clogged up.

It s crazy you d ask, don t look.

[nose sniffing]

Thank you.

Gotta stay on schedule.

Keeping it in the world of health, hand sanitizer.

This is my favorite.

It s a spray.

It s like lavender.

It s great.

More health-related products.

Advil, Aquaphor,

coconut oil lip balm,

some pens.

Did I speed through too fast?

I m like, should we talk about the Aquaphor?

Actually I will say I do love Aquaphor.

I have forever.

They recently sent me a tub and they were like,

We heard you like us.

And I was like, it s much deeper than that,

but I couldn t have been more.

I m gonna like frame the card.

Okay, let s see, four pens.

These are like my go-to.

This is a pen that I really like,

but I wouldn t choose this one first.

This one is slowly dying and I m in denial,

so I ve kept it around, but they re the same,

like, they re all the same.

Nothing is wrong with the blue pen.

Nothing s wrong with it.

I use this, but these are like,

if I had to show you something that I care about deeply,

it s these ones.

I haven t journaled yet today.

Sitting here

showing Vogue

my nasal sprays, period.

What a life.

Okay, gum,

Element electrolyte mix.

It s so bad on the body to travel so much.

So we try to just keep it like the least gross as possible.

Oh this is my mirror.

My hairstylist, Bobby, got me this for Christmas this year,

and I love him very much, and I love that mirror.

My keys with my mace for safety.

Also, key chain that we made for I Love You I m Sorry.

It says Asshole of the year.

So this is a combination I m very proud of.

Okay, fragrances.

I think I have two.

Oh, I have three in here, perfect.

My friend Claudia has this company called Cycler,

and she just makes everything smell perfect.

Another Flonase.

Oh, another lash curler.

Some MT tape.

I m always taping things down.

So tape, put it here.

Capo for guitar.

Guitar pick that I actually do use,

this is the Dunlop 0.71, important.

There s so much in here.

Do we even wanna talk about,

can I tell you like my two faves?

This is in what shade is this?

Rise?

I don t love lip gloss.

I don t love how it makes me feel.

This is like a balm,

but it has a nice sheer color.

I m sure you can tell this is glam

that we just finished shooting in,

and I put this on,

and I feel more like myself within an instant.

So there s that.

My other two essentials in here, though I love it all,

is this arc pencil for like you can see I use it so much

that the caps are missing.

That s upsetting.

And this is a brow gel,

but it s actually got to be hair gel,

and we just like shove it in the tube and this.

And this actually fits an embarrassing amount of product,

but you don t need to see all of it.

I have one other thing.

It s a sticker that unfortunately

isn t functional anymore,

but it s, someone made this on tour.

It s a custom sticker of my dog, Weenie.

He s kind of a very weird looking like alien dog,

and they captured his essence beautifully.

And the very, very, very last thing

is a brush that doesn t fit in my makeup bag.

[brush clacking]

30 feels like a safe number.

You counted?

[Producer] Yeah, we counted on the 49.

49 items?

Didn t I say it could be upwards.

That is foul.

But let s just talk about the power of this.

That s kind of a big deal.

Thank you for indulging me.

I hope you don t judge too harshly.

Oh, another pen, whatever.

La, la, la, should do more vocal warmups, maybe.

[bright piano music]

[Gracie buzzing lips]

Gotta hit that.

[Producer] High B.

High B.

We re actually currently working on stretching my range.

So I ll keep you posted, but I can hit the high B.

Okay, I m just gonna really,

I m just gonna be the way that I am,

and just really get it going.

So foul,

so exposing.

What a great time.

Thank you so much for having me,

and thank you for tolerating all that.

Adore you.

Thank you so much, Vogue.

Love you, bye, bye.

[upbeat jazz music]

[Producer] You just shot your first Vogue cover!

[crew cheering]
