Transcript

We are in a beautiful building in downtown Los Angeles

and we just finished a shoot with Peter Linbergh for Vogue.

Peter and Tanya created this sort of ethereal world

that has a nod to the movement, dance feeling

and sort of that ghostey, kind of creepy, almost, vibe.

So the setting in this sort of old hotel

that s sort of run down is kind of perfect.

I was wearing many things.

There s some Rodarte, J. Mendel, there s Prada,

just beautiful, beautiful dresses.

[Man] Our new Swan Queen, the exquisite Nina Sayers.

Nina is a very tricky character.

She starts out as very sort of seeing herself

through everyone else s eyes

to someone who is very much inside of herself and creating

and it s sort of the journey of someone becoming an artist.

[Man] The only person standing in your way is you.

I started preparing for the role a year ahead of time,

doing the dance training.

The ballet was very hard to catch up on at 27.

I think I ve maxed out on my ballet.

I love it, I love going, I love seeing it,

but in terms of doing it, I ll leave it to the people

who are the experts.
