Hi, Vogue, it s Gabby Thomas,

and welcome to my wedding diaries.

I am in the very early stages of wedding planning,

so today it s all about figuring out the vibe.

That means shopping, wedding venues.

But first things first,

I have a ton of Minted stationery to go over

and I m so excited.

Wow.

The process of talking

to the Minted concierge was basically getting a feel

for what my vibe is,

what my style is,

and what I want kind of my wedding theme to be.

I love it.

I feel like the black and white theme is just very classic,

very timeless.

I didn t even see this here.

Oh my goodness.

This is my puppy, Rico.

I feel like that would be a really cute thing to include.

I actually love this.

That is so cute. [laughs]

Moving on to the next suite,

wow, it s definitely eye catching, which I love.

I want our wedding to feel a little bit different.

It s giving vintage, which is really fun.

There s so many intricate details with this

that it feels so special.

I m loving the vintage.

Suite number three, I immediately love this.

I love the cactus.

My fiance and I met in Austin, Texas,

and so having this little detail,

it s really important

to have us leave that stamp on our wedding

and quite literally, on the stationery.

I have to say, I m obsessed with this one.

I think this might be the one.

The last suite with the gold foil and the cactus

and the letterpress is my favorite.

I am so excited about it.

Did I mention that green s also my favorite color?

That is so beautiful.

So that was the first step of the wedding process.

So next up is checking out a wedding venue

that I ve had my eye on.

Hey, guys, so we re at Barr Mansion.

It has beautiful gardens,

and it is a perfect balance of rustic and elegance.

Let s go inside.

This is the bridal suite

where I ll be getting ready with all of my bridesmaids.

Being in this room,

I definitely kind of feel a theme forming

with the greens and the whites

and the rustic and the charm,

and it s definitely giving Austin.

I can picture the cocktail hour right here

in this beautiful area.

It has shading and it has trees,

and it s just a beautiful scenery.

I dunno, it kinda feels like the world is my oyster here.

This is so cute

and definitely the staple of this venue.

So much greenery.

[gasps] Come look at this.

He looks so handsome in his tux.

Even customizing my bar menu is one of the little things

that I m so excited to do

and that just make part of the wedding planning process

so much fun.

And this is the final structure at the venue,

where I can definitely envision us having our reception

and where all the dancing happens.

We do have one more stop,

so we re gonna pop by Lauren Owen s here in Austin, Texas.

[chuckles] I love a good cowgirl hat.

[Gabby gasps]

Oh my God.

I can definitely see myself wearing that

to maybe an after-party or even my bridal shower.

Good choice. [laughs] - Thank you.

[Gabby laughs]

So I feel like I have really got a feel for the theme

that I wanna pursue for the wedding planning.

And I feel like this Western Texas theme is such a big part

of the story of me and Spencer

and I wanted to build off of that.

And I m really excited, and I can t wait to continue.

Thank you for coming with me,

and I can t wait to see you at the wedding.

[lighthearted music]
