Blake Lively is in high festive spirits, stepping out for a holiday dressing double-hander in New York.
The It Ends With Us actor first appeared on Monday (December 9) wearing a Tamara Ralph fall 2025 dress (a brand she has often turned to for her most maximal moments, beloved by the likes of Florence Pugh, Angelina Jolie, and Halle Berry too for the old Hollywood glam aesthetic): a white and gold tweed longsleeve top half that was cinched at the waist, which fell into a dramatic white feather skirt with sheer panelling. It’s a choice that could work as an office-to-corporate-Christmas-party look…if you stayed sitting down at your desk until 5p.m. She styled it with sheer crystal-studded Christian Louboutin pumps, a textured white clutch bag, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Her signature honey blonde hair fell in one undulating wave over her shoulder.
The following night, Lively changed it up from that Angel-Gabriel-meets-Girl-Boss look into a Santa red Annina Dirndl dress, with a plunging silk bodice and organza ruffled skirt. Lively added amber colored silk pumps adorned with bows on the heels and crystal straps, and accessorized once again with more colorful Lorraine Schwartz cocktail rings and a green pendant necklace with matching earrings. Tightening up her blonde curls, it looks like she followed her own tips for quick-glam date night hair. It all felt very elevated Mrs. Claus, living her Alpine Christmas life.
Cheerily leaning into the classic codes of Christmas ticks off a lot of Blake Lively’s own personal style sensibilities: The feminine silhouettes, swishy fabrics and fun textures, loud accessories, the megawatt smile. Lively loves themes and novelty too, as exhibited by her love of pizza-shaped purses. And a pop of red has become a calling card in the recent colder months, with Lively stepping out in a wine red Sergio Hudson trench dress and a cherry red Elie Saab Broderie peplum two-piece.
These days, her public appearances are a little more sporadic (especially given the protracted court battle with Justin Baldoni) but when she does step out, best believe it’s the self-styled Blake Lively way—with some added whimsy this season.
