When Hailey Bieber went out to dinner last night, the model and skincare founder chose an outfit that, at first glance, appeared to be made from her wardrobe staples. But upon further inspection, her funky shoes proved to offer a twist on a classic outfit.
Bieber joined Zoë Kravitz at the celeb hotspot Sushi Park in West Hollywood, wearing a monochromatic look. One to favor warm tones, Bieber wore a chocolatey suede miniskirt (which perfectly matched her manicure) that peeked out from under her thick brown knit crewneck sweater. Over the look, she wore an oversized brown leather bomber jacket (a styling trick that she regularly employs), and kept the accessories simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a black top handle purse.
While Bieber is a devoted fan of loafers with white, calf-high socks, her latest interpretation of the preppy classic instantly elevated her look. She wore a pair of black Loewe Terra penny loafers, which retail at $1200 and have a one-and-a-half-inch cantilever heel. Bieber seems to be experiencing a particular fondness for kitten heels right now. Just days ago, she stepped out in a pair of black mules, which she styled with stirrup leggings and an ’80s power blazer.
With this look, Hailey Bieber is proving that there is no need to abandon your sense of self while seeking out more high-fashion alternatives. We look forward to seeing how else she styles her new Loewe loafers.
