Ahead of the final European date of Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball, Mother Monster must feel contemplative. Wrapping up her continent-hopping, gothic-opera production once more (before she heads off to Australia next month, that is), now’s a time to reflect on all the Gaga eras gone by. When the singer stepped out last night in Paris, it looks like Artpop is on her mind.

Gaga was photographed emerging from the historic and chic Laurent restaurant in Paris dressed in a minty green silk suit from Haider Ackermann’s flair-filled, sexy spring 2026 collection for Tom Ford, with sharp shoulders and a delicately flocked waist that fell into flowing, tailored pants. She kept to Ackermann’s runway styling, wearing a sheer black bra underneath, a skinny leather belt, and pointed black stilettos, and toted a teeny-tiny black Hermès bag. (A favorite from her collection of Birkins and Kellys.) Of course, on her finger was the Sofia Jewelry custom engagement ring from Polansky: an 18-karat white and rose gold band which features a large oval-cut diamond, set with pink ombré pavé diamonds, and a hidden white diamond halo.

This particular shade felt both modern and nostalgic, recalling the brighter, vibrant, statement-making aesthetics of Gaga’s Artpop era—Artpop being Gaga’s third studio album, released in 2013—where the singer’s color palette dashed across electric violet, acid yellows, and cerulean, in looks that dabbled in subversive suiting, and sculptural, body-contouring silhouettes. But with Ackermann’s vision, there’s a contemporary sense of polish here.

Gaga has been an ardent follower of Tom Ford across all of her eras—wearing the house’s designs just as much as Balenciaga (and Gaga is Demna-era Balenciaga-obsessed) for multiple red carpet and awards events. She also appeared in the the house’s ever-iconic spring summer 2016 fashion film.

The seafoamy suit is a welcome spark of color for Lady Gaga, who has stuck to a gothic and monochromatic sartorial rhythm for the last little while. Through The Mayhem Ball tour, Gaga has opted for biker gang leathers via Saint Laurent, Vaillant, and Zeynep Arcay, with military-influenced looks by Balmain, and Matieres Fecales feathery bodysuits. Off stage, you’ll often find her in sky-high Louboutins, chunky boots, and all-back Balenciaga staples. Last week, Gaga and Polansky—who got engaged in September 2024 and shared the story first with Vogue—stepped out together for dinner in Paris wearing contrasting looks.

With the Australian tour leg in sight—and Aussie summer—will Gaga inject the rest of the rainbow into her wardrobe? TBC.
