And just like that. . . And Just Like That is back!

Sarah Jessica Parker has officially kicked off the season three press tour for her hit Max series. Premiering on May 29, Parker will return as the iconic Carrie Bradshaw alongside stars Cynthia Nixon (Miranda), Kristin Davis (Charlotte), Nicole Ari Parker (Lisa), and Sarita Choudhury (Seema). This week in New York City, Parker has been making the talk show rounds to chat about the season. While some of the star’s looks offered a subtle nod to the fashionista spirit of the show, her skirt suit—worn to Good Morning America yesterday—was 100-percent Carrie.

A tailored skirt suit has become one of Parker’s own most-worn ensembles recently. Last year, the actor wore a sleek double-breasted gray version on the red carpet at the Torino Film Festival. But on both Sex and the City and And Just Like That over the years, it’s Carrie who has rocked various iterations of the skirt suit, and has made it her signature. (Take the time she got drunk at Vogue in a pinstriped two-piece, or got married to Big in a vintage cream style—two of the most memorable fashion moments in the entire series cannon.) For Parker’s own touch, the star put a spring twist on the wardrobe staple by choosing a polka-dotted, sky-blue style. She accessorized with peep-toe pumps and a matching blue bag.

Today, meanwhile, Parker stepped out in yet another Carrie-worthy look. Her floral dress, embroidered robe coat, and animal-print heels display precisely the kind of power clashing that Carrie is known for. (In And Just Like That, she loves pairing the most unexpected patterns together.) Leave it to Parker to do method dressing in a fashion-forward way. Both outfits were polished and elegant—two fitting adjectives for both Carrie and Parker’s enviable closets.
