The Stranger Things cast’s first ever premiere took place in 2016. Noah Schnapp was the youngest at age 11, while Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo were 13, and Caleb McLaughlin was 14. Millie Bobby Brown was 12. The kids of Hawkins were all happy, cheesy smiles and slightly ill-fitting suits on that first red carpet in New York City. Now, almost a decade later and on the fifth and final season of the show that catapulted them to fame, the young men of Stranger Things have firmly established their own individual styles.

Schnapp, Wolfhard, Matarazzo, and McLaughlin attended a Stranger Things fan event in Berlin, Germany yesterday evening (November 18). Wolfhard (who plays Mike) opted for a squared-shouldered Thom Browne coat with a gradient red, black, and white check, and a white shirt and black tie underneath. The American designer and his strong style of suiting has been a fixture in Wolfhard’s press tour wardrobe, alongside skinny-fit looks from Alexander McQueen. Matarazzo (who plays Dustin) wore a black velvet, single breasted suit and tie; he has a penchant for a classic suits in varying textures, and usually, will add something like a fun statement shirt.

Schnapp (who plays Will) wore a structured gray windowpane-check suit, with a black shirt and black tie, in keeping with his own love of print and slick tailoring. On this press tour, he’s looked to Burberry and cinched up in Balmain, but has also shown a love for the slim silhouettes of Fendi on the red carpet.

McLaughlin (who plays Lucas) stole the show at the Los Angeles premiere in a military style jacket and full look from Wales Bonner fall 2025, and in London, wore a Rococo style white and gold button jacket by British tailor and designer Joshua Kane. In Berlin last night, he kept to that ambitious sartorial rhythm. The actor wore a light khaki suit jacket with billowing sleeves, a frilly necked white shirt, and pale blue baggy jeans that also featured frill details along the sides.

Across their press tour so far, each of the young actors have showcased their own very personal senses of style, finding lightness, personality, and a little bit of risk-taking in these red carpet moments. As the stakes in the Upside Down reach fever pitch, the boys have matched that energy in bold fashion choices IRL. It’s a confident style path shared by fellow castmates Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson.
