Lisa! Jennie! Clairo! Stormzy! Lana! All Your Favorite Musicians Were at the 2025 Met Gala

The Met Gala is always a hotbed of talent, and this year’s version was no exception. Actors, artists, athletes and other generally fabulous guests mingled on the blue floral carpet at the 2025 Met Gala, but one creative group in particular reigned supreme: musicians. Chappell Roan and Doechii were both on hand for their very first Met Galas, as industry legends including Diana Ross, Madonna, and Ms. Lauryn Hill interpreted the Tailored for You dress code in thrillingly different ways.

The first Monday in May was also anchored by music—with Pharrell Williams and A$AP Rocky as two of its co-chairs and a run of show that included performances by the Silk Sound chorus, the Virginia-based Voices of Fire choir, and the High and Mighty Brass Band—along with two little-known acts called Usher and Stevie Wonder.
