Who are you wearing tonight?

Louis Vuitton. I already knew,

but I asked anyway.

I know, you ve got it s--

And me too.

I know. Twinning!

And this is gorgeous, though.

[Emma] This is gorgeous. You look glorious, babe.

You look amazing. No, you look amazing.

Tell me about, like,

what was the most inspiring element

of this year s theme for you personally?

A couple of things.

I think the wonderful thing

about the Archive pieces put together is

that we re, sustainability and we re reusing clothes,

and we re showing that we can create things new

[Emma] out of the old. Yes.

And I think that s really, really important.

Me too. And I think that

what s wonderful about doing that with Gilded Glamour,

is that you get to do the same.

It s like finding ways to layer on to things

that you might not even realize.

Totally. This is just, you know,

a sheet, but...

That s amazing. It s a sheet

with tulle and things to put on in it,

but I would know it as headscarf

and Europe people know it as a gilet.

But it came from the, early inspiration from the 1800s,

of the women of Louisiana who used to

have to wear a piece called a tino,

which is to cover their hair,

and it s something that keeps being used throughout time.

Black women wear headscarves in many different ways,

in many different situations,

and for many different occasions.

And again, it s the layering on

of something old to make something new.

[Emma] Absolutely. That s what it was, yeah.

So, so beautiful.

What are you most excited about seeing inside tonight?

The exhibition, cause I m a fashion-fiend.

[Emma] Me too.

I cannot wait to see the exhibition,

and the performers.

I have no idea who s performing tonight.

[Emma] Me either, does anyone know?

I don t, no one.

It s gonna be a little surprise.

I m excited to see that. Me too.

Well, you look amazing. Thank you.

I ll see you in there-- Yes, you will.

And we ll have so much fun.

I can t wait.

You look so beautiful. Thank you, my lovely.

[Emma] I m also gonna steal that bag,

it s really gorgeous.

[Cynthia] I m running away with it first.
