In an era of sexy press tour dressing (hello Sydney Sweeney, Jenna Ortega, Alexander Skarsgård, Kim Kardashian), Teyana Taylor rises triumphant. In her arsenal, the sensual vision of Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford—and her rock-hard abs, of course.
Taylor loves a sculptural look and barely there fabrics that pack a punch. Stepping out for the 2025 Time 100 Gala last night (October 30), the All’s Fair actor reveled in those sartorial sensibilities, wearing look 43 from the Tom Ford spring 2026 collection, shown earlier this month in Milan.
“I told them I want them to seduce. They’re aware they’re seducing, but they act as if they’re not aware of it—it’s all this kind of game,” Ackermann told Vogue backstage before the show of his direction for the runway models. It’s a sentiment Taylor took to the red carpet.
The look features a curved, buttonless black blazer that skirted her abs and hips, revealing a slither of fabric across the neck that fell into little more than a thread down the stomach, flowing into a slinky see-through skirt with a train and a thong underneath. Taylor posed fiercely with her tufty, raven-dark pixie cut, a cutting smoky eye, and glossy taupe lip.
Teyana Taylor’s press tour for Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair (and ahead of her One Battle After Another campaign) has seen the star don dramatic, body-contouring silhouettes and couture looks. Styled by Wayman Micah, Taylor wore a croc-effect, super structured gown with a matching chapeau by Tamara Ralph for the London premiere, and a shimmering gold and silver Schiaparelli dress for the Paris screening. In Los Angeles, she walked the pink carpet in a textured fishtail gown, custom veil, and collar by Cong Tri. In New York, she dived into the Armani Privé archives to wear a sheer-sleeved black sequin embroidered dress and netted veil from the fall winter 2017 couture collection. So far, so sexy gothic—Jenna Ortega may watch out. And who could forget her recent turn on the Vogue World Hollywood runway, walking the Paramount Pictures lot with Danai Gurira in costumes Ruth E. Carter designed for 2018’s Black Panther?
All’s Fair is the new courtroom drama from Ryan Murphy, which sees Taylor alongside Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Naomi Watts—all who have had their own striking press tour wardrobe runs. With the series set to drop November 4, expect high-wattage fashion to come from all angles.
