The Best Dressed Stars at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards
On Sunday night, the 2026 SAG Actor Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The ceremony, hosted by Nobody Wants This star Kristen Bell, celebrated some of the best film and television performances of the past year—and served as one of the final splashy events before the Oscars later this month.
On the red carpet, the best dressed stars of the night were those who nodded to the official dress code, “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s,” in unexpected ways.
A little—or a lot—of glitz and sparkle prevailed, for starters. Rose Byrne looked timelessly elegant in her white Chanel gown with an embroidered drop waist, the closing look from Matthieu Blazy’s pre-fall 2026 collection. Mia Goth went for a contemporary Dior slip dress, festooned with an all-over black beaded overlay—reminiscent of the flapper dresses from the roaring ’20s.
Others, like Teyana Taylor, went more avant-garde: The One Battle After Another star chose a surreal Thom Browne design that acted as a second skin. (A new take on naked dressing, if you will.) And Love Story’s Sarah Pidgeon chose a tiered pink Balenciaga gown that was all about committing to a striking architectural shape.
As for some of the standout gentlemen of the evening, Heated Rivalry’s Connor Storrie—fresh from hosting Saturday Night Live in New York last night—looked sharp in his boxy Saint Laurent suit; and Sinners star Miles Caton updated the classic black suit with a slightly flared leg. With menswear, it’s always the subtle details that take a look from good to great.
