Leave it to Teyana Taylor to shut down the red carpet at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards.
The actor offered her own cheeky take on naked dressing, tapping Thom Browne to fashion her a trompe l’oeil corset. Inspired by the spring 2026 collection, Taylor wore a figure-hugging gown with a white and gray breastplate that traced the contours of her bust, calling to mind a Greek statue. The strapless top flowed into a metallic sequined skirt with a flowing train.
Taylor is no stranger to naked dressing: last month she attended the Schiaparelli spring 2026 couture show in a diaphanous black lace midi dress, which she styled with accessories inspired by the stolen Louvre jewels. But this is her most cerebral interpretation yet (and, might we add, perfect for the 2026 Met Gala!).
As her date Taylor brought her daughter Rue Rose Taylor Shumpert, who dutifully fixed her mom’s train on the carpet. (“A very expensive stylist!” Taylor quipped on E!.) Elsewhere, Taylor’s onscreen daughter, Chase Infiniti, brought her fashion A-game in a crystal-covered Louis Vuitton gown. We’ll chalk this whole fashion fantasia up to good genes—real and invented.
