Dolce Gabbana Green Velvet Heels

I don t wear sneakers.

I do not wear sneakers.

I don t go that far.

I m Ally Betker, a features assistant at Vogue.

I am obsessed with these Dolce Gabbana shoes,

fall 2013.

They are green velvet with an ankle strap.

And I like them because they re pretty lady like,

with a stacked heel and the ankle strap, but then

velvet gives it kind of a grunge rocker feel

and the metallic heels kind of a little bit

more of a party shoe.

I m definitely a shoe girl.

(laughs)

There s nothing like a good pair of shoes. Honestly.

I mean, you can be wearing the most boring outfit

and then the shoes just make it.

You can buy a pair now and be wearing them

20 or 30 or 40 years from now.

I take care of them.

You know when you buy shoes there s paper in the toe?

I, like, put the paper back in the toe

when I put them in the box to go to bed at night.

The shoes go to bed.
