Fashionable Digital Camera

I work for Vogue Magazine.

Everything begins with a photograph.

And you look at those photographs,

and you either laugh or you cry

or you feel some sort of emotion.

And the emotion that I like to feel is laughter and joy.

My name is Jordan Bickham Blankenbaker,

and I m an Associate Accessories Editor at Vogue.

Yeah, a lot of B s.

The type of name that makes you smile.

This is my new favorite toy,

it s the Samsung Galaxy camera.

As an Accessories Editor, I go to see shoes,

handbags, all that really cool stuff.

And I take pictures of all of it.

I can snap a photo and directly email it

to any of my colleagues at work.

And you can upload them to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

I love pictures that are about fashion,

but I love pictures where fashion isn t the focal point.

My Instagram, I try to keep it pretty separate from work.

You ll normally get three or four pictures

of my cats a day. (chuckling)

So I love taking pictures of cats.

If I m not looking at clothing or accessories,

I m probably looking at cats.

But I can say that, because I m happily married,

and I m not like a single cat lover. (laughing)

I think that you can truly tell a joke,

or make someone laugh out loud, by taking a picture.
