How to Wear a Tuxedo Jacket

New York is so new for me right now

that I haven t had time to miss Paris.

My name is Maya Sasaki,

and I m the Accessories Assistant at Vogue.

This Saint Laurent is actually

one of my favorite pieces from pre-Fall.

I wear t-shirts and skinny jeans every day,

but this is a great piece.

It s so sharp that it s great from day to evening.

Yves Saint Laurent created the tuxedo for women

in the sixties and it was a revolution.

It s been tailored for a fitted look,

but Hedi Slimane adds a rock and roll touch

which I really love.

I would actually just wear it like this to the office

and the only thing I would change is actually my heels.

They re great, but kind of hard to run around at the office,

so I would definitely being wearing,

maybe ballet flats or nine centimeter heels.

I don t know, I haven t had the time
