Kylie Jenner has spent awards season so far swerving the red carpet, choosing to skip the step and repeat to support her partner Timothée Chalamet from the audience as he sweeps up for Marty Supreme.
But The Moment, Charli xcx’s star-studded pop mockumentary, marks Jenner’s acting debut. And so, she stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere—wearing, what else, but Maison Margiela.
It felt quite perinent that the beauty mogul opted to wear Glenn Martens’s debut for the storied house for her own first-time foray, choosing a look from the spring 2026 ready-to-wear show. Styled by Rose and Mackenzie Grandquist, Jenner wore a cream halterneck made of undulating ruffles, paired with a swishy, double-layer black and cream skirt that cascaded into a liquidy train. She decided to forgo the runway’s four-stitched mouthpiece, and removed the paneling on the navel to expose her stomach. Glam was signature Kylie Jenner, bronzed with a slicked back up-do.
She posed on the red carpet with her movie collaborators including Tish Weinstock, Bertie Brandes, Kate Berlant, Aidan Zamiri, Charli XCX, Trew Mullen, and Richard Perez. Everyone followed a similar sartorial rhythm, in sheer looks, black sparkles, and some cool-toned mint. Charli, for one, opted for a vintage Alexander McQueen leather bra and a custom Paul Gaultier x Ludovic de Sant Sernin corset, with her favorite R and M leather micro shorts. Jenner posted a pic of herself, Charli, and director Zamiri with the caption “triplet energy.”
Jenner, like her sister Kim Kardashian, has often turned to Margiela for her most major moments, with an affinity for the house’s sensual, body-exulting designs. (And a tabi shoe.) Otherwise, she’s a Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Ashi Studio girl and enjoys the Versace and Galliano archives.
A video for The Moment soundtrack tune “Residue” dropped earlier this week with a surprise cameo by Jenner, channeling Charli wearing a Brat-era tank and mini-shorts, smoking.
Kylie will have to make some room in her closet for a custom The Moment puffer jacket, among the rainbow of Marty Supreme nylons.
