Navigating Louis Vuitton’s Space-Age Show with Nina Dobrev

Hey guys, I m Nina Dobrev

and I m in Paris at the moment,

getting ready for the Louis Vuitton show, can t wait!

(upbeat music)

Tonight, we are doing a pretty natural,

kind of no makeup, makeup look.

It s actually sometimes more makeup

that has to be applied, I don t know.

It seems like it wouldn t make sense, but that is the case.

I don t like to wear makeup if I don t have to.

I just don t want to open it because it s too beautiful.

This is the invitation to the show

and it s a passport holder

and there s these nifty sunglasses.

Ooh-la la, tres chic.

Oh my god, it s monogrammed!

They monogrammed it with my name on it.

I ll be right back, I gotta go get changed.

I have to figure out my pose depending on

what you re wearing, you have to figure out

if there s an unflattering angle to avoid.

I m wearing a white silk Louis Vuitton dress.

I love everything that Nicolas does.

There s an edge to him and there s a freshness

that he brings to the table that s

exciting with each collection to get watch

and see how he innovates and

brings technology into each piece.

The show, Louis Vuitton show, will be at the Louvre,

and I had never been to the Louvre until two days ago

and so now I get to go twice in the same weekend.

[Woman] That s amazing!

Yeah, I m very excited.

I would try to wink but I m notoriously the worst winker,

I always close both eyes, yeah, I go.

There was an underlying eighties theme

that I absolutely love and there was

pops of color that was unexpected for me,

but felt fresh, modern, edgy, and

there was a lot of structure, but softness.

Nicolas did an incredible job.
