She s got some really cool artists here.

Oh, she s got reggae.

Let s put some reggae on, shall we?

Okay, cool.

It doesn t work.

[Simone and film crew laughing]

[upbeat music]

Hey Vogue, it s Simone.

Come spend the day with me in London.

Let s go.

[reggae guitar music]

Next time. Next week, yeah.

No worries. Thanks so much.

No worries, mate.

See you next time. Bye.

Thank you.

Thanks, bye.

Forgot my coffee.

[reggae guitar music]

This is a cardamom bun.

I moved here and I never had a dog

and then I just saw dogs everywhere

and I kind of realized I really wanted to have

like a furry friend and then I got a puppy.

I d walk here with her and try and dodge all the cyclists

before we go to Vicky Park.

But that was my life.

Like if I wasn t auditioning, I d just be hanging out here

going for walks with my dog, biking around, seeing friends.

Do you want some?

[Male Crew Member] What is it?

Here, cardamom?

[Female Crew Member] He s got a massive sweet-

[Male Crew Member] Sugars.

We are off to a fitting at Stella McCartney s.

[upbeat music]

Hi!

Hi, I m Simone.

So nice to see you.

Nice to see you.

Thank you for having me. How are you?

I m good.

It s so great to have you at Stella.

Should we go upstairs?

Let s take you up.

Okay.

[drum instrumental]

So let me show you some of the gowns at the back.

So which one do you think takes your fancy?

What can we see you in?

I love this, I think this is so cute.

This one.

[Claire] Yes.

That s the one I had my eye on.

And then this one here.

[Claire] I think so.

Oh, and then this one goes with the trousers.

Okay cool, I might actually need your help.

[Simone and Claire laughing]

Thank you.

Pleasure.

Let s go.

[upbeat music]

Yay.

[Claire] Nice.

Love this one.

[Claire] Yeah.

So cute with the boots and maybe like hair up

to make it a bit more neater.

But I love this.

I love color.

I love black.

It s really chic and simple and can be quite powerful.

But I really love playing with color.

I think it s just like a proper London girl kind of look.

It s cute but understated.

It s not too showy.

Right, should we try the next one?

This one s really cool.

I love like the details on the top.

Love showing a bit of skin or a lot of skin.

And I love the shape of these pants.

I think it dresses it down a little bit.

I think for like if you re attending a show

and you re not walking, you wanna look cool, effortless.

You know, you re going to an event

and I guess we re very wild, it s gonna be a big one.

So maybe a bit extra effort than usual.

And I think hair down for this one,

like my my hair down and curly and kind of big.

Or we could have like long straight hair.

[upbeat music]

This is a cool one.

Look at that.

They look like a cool group of people.

My dad has a lot of records

so I grew up listening to like all the tunes

like Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones.

It s kind of a shame we don t really listen

to records anymore.

[upbeat music]

I love wearing and supporting

young, up-and-coming, British fashion designers.

Marco Capaldo at 16Arlington

or Connor Ives, who I was wearing today.

I love their work.

They ve just always inspired me,

what it is, I ve said this so many times,

to be a London girl

and that kind of look and what it feels like.

You know, when I m not working I m just, you know,

in my sneakers and my trackies.

So when I get to like wear a look and wear someone s work,

it s such an honor and I m so grateful

that my work allows me to do stuff like that.

A few nights ago I went to the Darjeeling Express

and Asma Khan is the head chef there.

I was just blown away.

She s just such a force.

Out there empowering women with a full female kitchen

and she, you know, it was just such a unique experience.

So go out for dinner and bring my best friend Roxy along.

I think that s just something I love about London.

I think in any city you have all these different pockets

where you can meet really cool people

and it kind of gives that city its own character.

And in London, there s a big Indian culture.

I don t go out in London much unless it s for work.

I tend to just stay at home with my dog.

[Simone gigging]

But, I m a big foodie.

I love going out and trying all the different restaurants.

[upbeat music]

Hi!

Hello. Hello, welcome.

This is Roxy.

Hello.

Hi. Hi Roxy.

Yay! So hungry.

So you have gotta pick one out of these two.

Yep.

And then one out of that.

Okay.

And then the rest is about textures and flavors

and you know you are in control

of this whole platter of food that comes.

You mix and match.

Okay.

Do you try them different like-

I m going to try this one.

I m trying this tamarind one first.

I love tamarind.

[food crunching]

That is so good.

Mm-hmm [affirmative].

Oh my God.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much.

Thank you so much.

[Roxy gasping]

Cheers babe.

Cheers babe.

What was your favorite dish growing up?

Was there a dish your mom used to cook

[food crunching]

that was your favorite?

She d make like this pea fried rice

which is like basmati rice with peas and fried onions,

mustard seeds, like black mustard seeds.

And then she d have this thing on the side called pacheri

and then had chicken curry.

And I would just have that.

And then appalam, again, which is like papadam on the side.

Are there things you ve learned from your mom

in terms of like the way you cook now?

She s always taught me just how to be clean

and organized in the kitchen.

Mm-hmm [affirmative].

Very important.

I can t think if it s just all over the place.

Thank you.

Wow.

[upbeat music]

Rings off.

Are you gonna eat with your hands?

Yeah. Rings off. Amazing.

If I can get the ring off.

I think I will eat with my cutlery.

Oh my God.

We don t know if this is a thing in Indian culture,

but I used to get...

I m left-handed.

[Roxy] Yeah.

I used to get told off for eating with my left hand.

[Roxy] That s so interesting.

Apparently, it was like a thing.

I need to take my mom here and my brother.

You have to bring your mom here.

They always say a silent table is a good thing sometimes.

cause people are just too busy eating.

[Simone and Roxy laughing]

[upbeat music]

Thanks so much for joining me

and I hope you enjoyed my little peek into my London life.

Bye.

[Simone and Roxy laughing]

[Roxy] Love that.

[Male Crew Member] Good, did you plan that?

[upbeat music]
