Donatella Versace feels energized to me,

maybe it s been her whole experience with Versus,

but there was a real sexy, athletic physicality

to this new Versace collection.

You ve said bold is more,

that s your kind of motto for this collection, isn t it?

What I was thinkin is

to strip out things unnecessary

from the Versace clothes,

and be strong, simple and bold

which is a bit difficult to achieve,

but with this collection

I feel I see a new Versace woman.

Donatella embracing a sporty vibe,

and a kind of athletic vibe, was a fresh thing.

I felt the change for sure,

I mean, it wasn t her structured dresses with high slits.

I mean, we saw a few high slits,

but there was some sequins-y,

I don t even know what it would be, jewels?

[Tim] It felt simpler to me than usual.

[Coco] Very simple, it wasn t hugging

the waist all the time.

In fact, there s a few things

I d be wearing during the day,

not necessarily always at night.

The collection is athletic for me.

I mean, I took pieces of sports,

like nets and cotton and jersey,

for jacket and shoes and pocket.

I went on, I went with a more believable

in the sense that she can wear these clothes

anytime in the day.

But at the same time, tough, strong DNA Versace.

[Tim] She thinks the experience of working

with Antony Vaccarellos has been

a very formative one for her,

and their, the Versus show in New York

was so successful, I m wondering whether

that is sort of filtered into this collection, in a way.

Well, I think those two probably

have made the last few Vaccarello collections

I ve seen in Paris, have been very short

and kinky and strong,

and sometimes Versace collections

have veered left and right for certain, like inspirations.

So this re-zeroing in on sex and sizzle

and like, short hem length,

I think those two kind of play a good ping pong match.
