Oh, hi guys.

I m Phoebe and we are getting ready for the Vogue pre-party,

I m about to have a cup of tea, so come on in.

[smooth music]

I don t think you really do New York properly

unless you run out onto the balcony and scream,

hello New York!

Hey!

[car horn honking]

He knows.

So right before I get dressed,

I like to have just a second to breathe

and know that I m here in the moment.

I think with a night like tonight

you definitely have to lean into a character.

Kind of gives you a bit of confidence.

I m channeling like every seventies icon there is.

I always feel like the key to a fun night

is to have a friend that s going to the same party.

So I m just gonna check to see what she s wearing cause.

We re fully going disco.

Yeah.

What about you?

Okay, we need to slow down the glam.

Okay.

We need to be fashionably late.

I was looking at one of your dark liners

and thinking that could be cool.

Right?

It s poppin !

Lil Mama.

What makes me feel confident?

Not taking myself too seriously and having a giggle.

I think that s when I feel the most confident,

when I ve had a giggle.

[Phoebe laughing]

The hair feels heavy.

I m not gonna lie.

So I think we re almost done.

We re like two minutes off.

And I m excited.

The sun is setting

and I m ready to go.

The venue for tonight is literally across the street.

There s always a big queue,

so we re about to find out what all the hype is about.

[smooth music]

I m feeling very seventies.

Ta do!

Ready to have a little boogie.

So for my evening, I m taking my eight items in my purse.

Obviously my Motorola razor,

my room key

and of course my liner and gloss.

And I m good to go.

So this is the final look.

Ta da!

And to get us in the mood,

I think we re gonna find the seventies,

little seventies bop to get us in the vibe.

Okay.

What do we have there?

[groovy music]

Okay Vogue, thank you for getting ready with me

and see you next time.
